Budget increase due to Indexation

Indexation usually happens by NDIA in mid-July, and where applicable, Participant budgets are updated by the NDIA.

After Indexation has occurred:

  • PACE Plans will show the increase in funding automatically.
  • Non PACE (Legacy) Plans with Budget Consent will show the new approved funding.
  • The Service Bookings will not have updated automatically. You will need to edit Service Bookings to allocate the additional funding allowance
  • Non PACE (Legacy) Plans without Budget Consent will not show the new approved funding. You will need to edit existing Service Bookings and apply a higher amount to receive a response from the NDIS displaying how much is available in the category.

To identify unallocated funds, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to 'All Plans' in Planability
  • Search using the filters: ACTIVE = Yes; PACE = No; Budget Consent = Yes
  • The amounts shown in Approved Budget and SB Allocated should match. If indexation has been applied (or you have not allocated all approved Plan Managed funding), there will be a variance.
