Do I need a copy of a Participant's Plan to be able to create Service Bookings?

It is preferable to have an actual copy of the plan however a participant has choice and control not to share the document. You can still create Service Bookings

Without Consent to Share

In the circumstance when you cannot obtain a copy of the plan, when creating a service booking, just like in Proda, you can enter a high value e.g. $1,000,000.00 in a category
e.g. 01 Assistance with Daily Life
the system will then display a warning notification showing the available funds in the plan.

You will need to confirm with the participant or their associated carer how they would like to distribute the Core Funding over the 4 categories.

With Consent to Share

If you have Consent to view the Plan but have not received a copy of the Plan and budget, you can view the Approved Budget in the Budget vs Actual Report by:

  • First creating a Standard Service Booking for your Plan Management fees
  • and ONE Plan Managed Service Booking.

Then Refresh the Participant's budget in Planability and the Approved Budget will display.
