Edit or End a Service Agreement

Edit a Service Agreement on a current Plan to add or reduce funding and adjust the date range of items. If a PACE Plan is reassessed, the agreement will not extend into the new Plan Period but can be cloned to the new budget.

Service Agreement Structure

Service Agreements consist of a primary agreement, known as the parent agreement (1), along with associated secondary agreements - Agreement Items, referred to as child agreements (2).

Parent Agreement - Service Agreement

Only one parent agreement is permitted for each provider within a specific plan. This agreement can span any duration that falls within the designated plan start and end dates.

The parent agreement has an Service Agreement ID which is a 12 digit number preceeded with A, eg., A240960000051

Child Agreement - Service Agreement Item

There can be multiple items added to the parent agreement. Their dates must fall within the Parent agreement dates. Items can be entered for a category or for a specific item. 

If there are multiple items for the same category or same item code, their dates cannot overlap.

The child agreement has an Item ID which is a 12 digit number preceeded with T, eg., T250360000556

Edit Parent Agreement 

To edit the Start and/or End Dates of the Service Agreement:

• Navigate to the Participants Plan. Select Service Agreement > List Agreement.
• Select Edit from the options to the right of the Agreement line:

• Click the Edit 'Pencil' icon

• Update
• Save

Changes made to the parent End Date will copy to the end date of any added items (child items) below.
