Claims should be reviewed before submitting to the NDIS. All claims that have been created by scanning, bulk import mailbox ingestion and csv import will be held in Claims for Review for checking.
Review Claim
Click on the invoice number or click to Edit a claim to review. We recommend the following checks:
- Invoice number matches
- Participant and provider have been correctly selected
- Check Pinned Notes for instructions
- Expand the Additional Information section to check Bank Details match the details on invoice
- Should this claim be assigned to a Service Agreement?
- Is approval required?
The claim information, including selecting an approver can be updated by clicking the edit icon:
Check that the Invoice Total matches the total amount on the uploaded invoice.
- If there are any errors such as the totals do not match or claim line warnings, you can edit the claim lines by clicking on the three radial buttons to the right and making your selection.
- When the claim is ready to be submitted. Click 'Confirm' at the top right of the screen.
- You will then view the Claim Details. If the claim requires approval, click 'Request for Approval'. If no approval is required, Submit Claim.
Hold For Review - manually hold a claim, enter a reason. Claim will be held in Claims for Review - manually held tab and cannot be submitted until marked as Reviewed.
Mark for Batch - Claims on Plans or Service Bookings that ended more than 90 days ago must be submitted by Batch Claim.
Submit Claim - Submit the claim to the NDIS for real-time claim submission. View the NDIS response to the claim, including the Payment Reference Number (PRN).
Edit - if further updates are required, click to Edit.
