It is important to understand that your existing Service Agreement data will remain unaffected. We encourage you to review the current Service Agreements established for PACE and reassessed PACE plans, as this review may present an opportunity to adjust item dates and optimise fund allocation within the flexible Core budget.

New Service Agreement feature - Overview

Some of the notable updates include:

  • Works with all plan types – Legacy, PACE, and PACE Reassessments.
  • Parent and child agreements – Manage agreements at both category and item levels.
  • Agency Customisation – Opt in to make service agreements mandatory for all claims, with individual participant overrides.

New Agency Setting: Make Service Agreements Mandatory

Service Agreements can be designated as mandatory for all participants through a global setting in your agency's configuration. Once activated for your agency, claims cannot be processed without an existing agreement in place.

NOTE: By default, this feature is disabled in your Agency setting. To OPT IN for this please contact: support@credsys.com.au

This global setting can be modified for individual participants through their Profile Settings. For example:

  • if Service Agreements are set as mandatory for the agency, this requirement can be disabled for specific participants, allowing you to submit claims without an agreement.
  • Conversely, if Service Agreements are not generally required, they can be made mandatory for select participants as needed.
Participant Settings:

Plan Manager elevated permission - Create and Edit Service Agreements

By default, this Elevated Permission will be enabled for all Plan Manager Users, meaning that all Plan Manager users will be able to edit or create Service Agreements.

Agencies can opt to remove this permission for individual users with Plan Manager access to prevent them from creating and editing Service Agreements.

See: User Roles & Permissions

What does this mean for your existing Service Agreements?

Your existing Service Agreements will be intact in Planability, but you may wish to update them or review them to ensure that you are quarantining funds in the correct PACE period; and in flexible Core budget, under the correct categories.

When you receive notification that a Plan has been extended (legacy Plan) or reassessed (PACE Plan), you should review and update all existing Agreements and adjust as required.

When a PACE Plan is reassessed, the existing Service Agreements will be applied to the now historical budget. Our recommended course of action would be to edit the end date of the Parent Service Agreement to match the new end date of the historical budget period, this will in turn reduce the end date of all the Child Service Agreement lines.

You can then Clone the Service Agreement to the new PACE period to quickly quarantine funds in the new PACE budget.

Service Agreement items for a Category or Support code

New Service Agreements or Agreement Items can be created to quarantine funds in a Support Category, or more specifically for a particular support code. This will provide more control of funding allocation and spend.
