Generate a Forgot Password email allowing the user to create a new password.
If a Support Coordinator or Carer has forgotten their login details and is unable to access Planability, generate a Forgot Password email.
Note: Send a new Welcome Email to Participants from their Participant Details page.
Generate a Forgot Password Email
- Navigate to Users in the left menu. Select Carers or Coordinators and enter the user email address to filter your search. You will be able to view and copy their username from the user listing
- From the login page (link below) you can select the 'Forgot Password' option.

- Enter their username and that will trigger an email to them - they can then reset their password from the link.

This action gives the user the option to reset their password
Why can't I resend a Welcome Email to a Support Coordinator or Carer?
As a User that may be associated with multiple Plan Management agencies, we are safeguarding their details by ensuring that the user is in control of their own contact details and preferences.
Resending a Welcome email resets their password and forces them to go through a new Password setup flow.
For Support Coordinators in particular, but also Carers, who are increasingly more often associated with participants from multiple agencies we found that their passwords were being reset by an agency when it was not required.
