Plan Manager - Assign Participants

Plan Managers can be assigned or associated with Participants. This allows them to have access to view and manage the Plans of those Participants, as well as receive system-generated notifications related to those plans.

Overview

The default setting, when creating a new Plan Manager User profile, is to associate the Plan Manager with all Active Participants, giving them access to manage and view all.

The Summary Report and any listings such as All Claims, or Claims for Review will show only associated Participant and Plan items.

For larger agencies, it may be preferable to focus the access, visibility and reporting of Participants and Plans on those the User is actively managing. This can be managed from the Plan Managers User Details page.

NOTE: To enable visibilility of ALL participants - regardless of association, enable Participants as an Elevated Permission for the Plan Manager.

This setting will also allow the Plan Manager to Archive participants.


Associate / Assign Participants

You can easily update the list of associated participants at any time from the Plan Manager User Details page.

  • From Plan Managers, or Users > Agency Users, click on the User Name to view the User Details Page.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the Plan Manager Details page to view all associated Participants.
  • Click Assign Participants 
  • Use the checkbox to individually assign or deselect to remove the association from the Plan Manager
  • or Use the top checkbox in the header to select all
  • Click Assign to save your selections.

System-Generated Email Notifications

A Plan Manager will receive the following system-generated email notifications for any Participant associated with their profile. 

  • Claim Rejected
  • Participant Plan Found
  • Participant Plan Extended
  • Expiring Plans Report
  • Warning Participants - Daily
  • Warning Participants - Weekly
  • Service Agreement Budget Usage Warning (if enabled)

To stop receiving these emails as a Plan Manager, you can disable (uncheck) Email Notifications in the Opt-In Settings of your Plan Manager user profile.
